  1. I absolutely adore my kitties - they are fabulous company, and pretty much make every day a little more awesome.
  2. I am a total bookworm, but mostly only read books with happy endings and cook books.  And travel books, of course.
  3.  I love figuring out a good food problem (I eat paleo/lectin free because of a few pesky health issues) and my latest kitchen passion is brewing my own kombucha - I'm on a natural-foods probiotic quest!
  4. I'm an passionate artist, and almost always have some kind of art project that I'm working on.   My art tends to feature the natural world and animals.  I used to sculpt stone, bronz and wood, but focus more on textiles with plant poundings and ink now.
  5. I absolutely love training animals, but especially cats.  They are so smart (and stubborn!) and always insist on doing things their own way.  I can't help respecting that gorgeous feline purrsonality!

  1. I've always been in love with the natural world.  Some of my earliest memories are of playing in local woods.   More recent plans always include cat hikes!
  2. Back in the day, I lived in a hand built straw bale/adobe house, and homesteaded with chickens, milk goats, and one sheep fur spinning wool. 
  3. Now I (very happily!) live in the city - but try to get out into the natural world as often as possible.  That's where training ShiShi and Haku came in - I love them so much that I want to share the outdoor fun with them!
  4. Before ShiShi and Haku came into my life, I wasn't even aware that hiking with cats could be even possible.  Now outdoor training time is frequently one of my favorite parts of the week.
  5. Spreading peace through connecting all the wonderful cat lovers in the world is my not-so-secret dream for making our planet a better place for all.
